Progressing Kenya’s Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Agenda  Recently, CARE Kenya had a productive meeting engaging with Ms. Mary M. Muriuki, CBS, Principal Secretary, State Department For Public Health And Professional Standards and Dr. Sultani Matendechero, Deputy Director General at the Ministry of Health, alongside key partners including World Vision, SUNCSA KENYA, Nutrition International and, Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) to discuss Kenya's engagement in the 2025 Paris Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit. The discussions focused on aligning Kenya’s national nutrition goals with global N4G commitments, strengthening the Community Health Strategy and Health Sector Strategic Plan, and addressing gaps in community engagement in Arid and Semi Arid Lands (ASAL) regions. The meeting also explored the next steps for the Epuka Uchafu campaign, aimed at improving public health awareness and sanitation. Moving forward, our efforts as CARE Kenya and partners are centered on developing a comprehensive N4G Country Roadmap to mobilize resources, enhance multi-sectoral collaboration, and ensure sustainable nutrition outcomes for Kenya. Vision Makers CBO, a vital stakeholder in the CASCADE Project, made a significant impact on World Breastfeeding Day in Matundura, Nyandarua County! The CBO hosted a dynamic roadshow with local nutritionists in Kinangop Sub-County, showcasing the benefits of breastfeeding for both mothers and babies. The SHE SOARS project, through CREAWKenya and Hope Worldwide Kenya, supported adolescent girls from Nairobi County in attending the Girl Up summit at KICC. This summit provided a platform for the girls to participate in leadership programs designed to secure their future by developing essential skills, building confidence through mentorship, expanding networks for future opportunities, and empowering them with role models and advocacy skills. Additionally, the girls were educated on how to advocate for their sexual reproductive health rights.
