Early Childhood Development (ECD) to children aged 0 to 8 years is more than just nurturing young minds it is a powerful tool for transforming societies. By fostering positive gender norms and equitable relationships from the earliest stages of life, ECD can play a pivotal role in breaking the cycle of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) against women and girls. Early Childhood Development programs that integrate gender-responsive approaches help children learn respect, empathy, and equality from a young age. By addressing harmful stereotypes and promoting healthy family dynamics, ECD lays the foundation for a culture of non-violence and mutual respect. Investing in ECD is an investment in a future where every individual, regardless of gender, can thrive in a safe and supportive environment. Together, we can empower the next generation to end the cycle of GBV and build a more inclusive, equitable society. Porticus is seeking a Learning Partner to accompany our Inclusion Fund—a three-year initiative (2024-2026) aimed at embedding inclusive practices across programming and partnerships. The Learning Partner will be pivotal in capturing insights, facilitating reflection and cross-learning, and documenting best practices to help Porticus and its partners embed inclusion in their work. This partnership will also support the development of actionable recommendations through a focused learning approach aligned with the Inclusion Fund’s objectives. We strongly encourage applications from organisations or individuals based in Africa, Asia, MENA, and LATAM to ensure diverse perspectives are represented in this global initiative. Please look at the Terms of Reference (ToR) for more details. Proposals should be submitted by 17th December 2024.
