This is Day 2 of our #solarinstallation at our second location, it’s a great moment to pause and reflect on the growing momentum of renewable energy. It’s been a year of change and progress for us at CUSUM ENERGY, and watching this new installation come to life is a reminder of just how far we’ve come both as a company and as a society. The journey to sustainable energy isn’t always linear. When we first started, many of our clients were excited about the idea of solar but unsure about the long-term benefits or installation process. Fast forward to today, and we’re seeing a major shift: renewable energy has gone from a niche solution to a mainstream one. It’s inspiring to witness how more and more businesses, homeowners, and communities are embracing solar energy as a smart, sustainable choice. What’s especially rewarding about this project is how much the landscape has changed in the last few years. More people are now considering solar as a smart, cost-effective energy solution, and we’re seeing businesses and homeowners make the switch not just for the savings, but because they want to be part of the solution to the #climatecrisis. As we approach the end of the year, it’s clear that the global conversation around clean energy has shifted significantly. Sustainability isn’t just a trend anymore—it’s a priority. At CUSUM ENERGY, we’re proud to be at the forefront of this transition. Watching our installations, like this one, take shape reinforces our commitment to driving the #renewableenergy movement forward. From smaller residential projects to large-scale commercial installations, the enthusiasm for solar power is intense, and we’re thrilled to be contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future. #Solarinstallation #renewableenergy #SolarPower #Sustainability #ClimateAction #SustainableFuture #SolarSolutions #CusumEnergy

#Carbon Footprint Assessment Managing GHG emissions helps to implement strategies to reduce emissions and minimize environmental impacts, foster transparency through detailed carbon emission report for consumers, improves compliance, builds trust while supporting global climate goals and enhance reputation and competitiveness, through integrated carbon reporting #Steps for Conducting a Carbon Footprint Assessment 1. #Define Scope and Boundaries Begin by determining the operational or organizational boundaries of the organization. Classify emissions into three categories: Scope 1: Direct emissions – GHG from sources owned or controlled by the involved organisation (e.g., fuel combustion). Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased energy. Scope 3: Other indirect emissions from assets not owned or controlled by the reporting organization, but that the organization indirectly affects in its value chain, such as those from business travel, waste generation and employee commute. 2. #Set a Baseline Year Select a baseline year for reference, ensuring the data collected is accurate and credible. 3. #Identify Emission Sources List all greenhouse gas (GHG) emission sources, categorizing them under Scopes 1, 2, or 3. 4. #Collect Data Gather activity data from sources such as fuel usage, electricity consumption, and waste generation. Consistency and accuracy are key. 5. #Select Emission Factors Use reliable emission factors from credible sources like DEFRA, UNFCC or local government standards to calculate emissions. 6. #Calculate Emissions Apply the selected emission factors to the activity data and sum emissions for each scope to determine the total. 7. #Verify Data Quality Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the data. 8- #Key Action Steps Report Results: Present findings transparently. Set Targets: Align reduction goals with global benchmarks, like the Paris Agreement. Implement Strategies: Adopt renewable energy, enhance energy efficiency, engage in tree planting and pursue other reduction measures. Regular Updates: Continuously refine data and improvement plans. Communicate: Share progress through reports, websites, or stakeholder updates. CUSUM ENERGY #carbonfootprint #NetZero #ClimateChange #ESG #Sustainability

Have you ever wondered what 1 tonne of CO₂ emissions truly represents? It might seem abstract, but breaking it down into relatable equivalents helps us understand the real-world implications of our carbon footprint. I’m sharing a simple yet insightful information that highlights the equivalence of 1 tonne of CO₂ emissions in everyday terms, from the number of miles driven in a car to the hours of energy consumption in an average household. It’s essential to note that the provided estimates are approximations, as variations can be based on various factors like technology, location, tree species, and weather conditions among others. 📩 Feel free to download and share your thoughts! #Climatechange #CarbonFootprint #Sustainability #ESG #GHG

Our engineers carried out an extensive #plugloadmeasurement for our valued client. The office contained four distinct office spaces, each with a different mix of equipment, including computers, printers, lighting, and appliances. By collecting real-time power consumption data from these devices, we were able to calculate load factors that reflect the combined diversity of equipment usage in each space. The engineers focused on: #IndividualEquipmentLoadFactors: Calculating load factors based on peak power consumption values for each device. #CombinedEquipmentLoadFactors: Developing load factors based on a combination of devices, considering the likelihood that equipment will not always be running at peak power simultaneously. #OfficeLevelDiversityFactors: Determining load factors for each office space that accounted for the mix of equipment and varying usage patterns specific to each space. Why you should consider plug load measurement: #LowerYourEnergyCosts: Unchecked plug loads can add up to significant energy waste. By measuring and optimizing your plug load usage, you can eliminate wasteful consumption and start saving money right away. #ImproveYourSustainability: Businesses and homeowners alike are looking for ways to reduce their environmental impact. Plug load measurement helps you identify areas where you can cut down on unnecessary energy use, supporting your sustainability goals. #PlanforSmarterMoreEfficientEnergyModels: Plug load measurement provides data-driven recommendations that can help you upgrade equipment, switch to energy-efficient models, and change habits that result in long-term energy savings. #PreventWastedEnergy: Many devices use energy even when they’re not in use. Phantom load—the energy drawn by devices in standby mode—can account for a significant portion of your energy bill. Plug load measurement will help you identify these "energy vampires" and take control. #AvoidEnergySurprises: As energy rates continue to rise, it’s important to understand where your energy is going. Accurate plug load measurement will give you a clear picture of your consumption, allowing you to plan your energy use more effectively Take the first step toward energy efficiency today! Reach out to us today at CUSUM ENERGY for a #plugloadmeasurement, and ensure that you're well prepared to optimize your energy usage for the year ahead. Start 2025 with smarter, more sustainable energy practices. #PlugLoadMeasurement #PlugLoad #EnergyAudit #LoadMeasurement #EnergyConsumption #OfficeEnergy #EnergyEfficiencyInOffices #PowerConsumption
