ENAI - Africa

Ewang’an Nadede Advocacy Initiative Africa(ENAI) is a local community-based organization and not for profit making. Established on 11th March, 2010. MANDATE ENAI–Africa’s primary mandate and focus is to build the capacity of communities in Kenya and other parts of Africa with special emphasis on gender equity and equality, sustainable food security, quality health, improved literacy and education systems, skills on social entrepreneurship, democracy and governance and environment and natural resources management for improved living standards VISION A healthy, food secure and developed community in Kenya and other parts of Africa MISSION To improve the quality of life for pastoralist communities by harnessing holistic participation, resource utilization in improving health, food security, gender equality for equitable and sustainable development in Kenya and other parts of Africa CORE VALUES i. Integrity: ENAI-Africa remains to be transparent and accountable in all matters that touches its services to the communities and other stakeholders. ii. Professionalism: ENAI-Africa adhere to set standards and uphold ethics in production and provision of products and services. iii. Equity: ENAI-Africa takes the impartial approach to service provision and respect of fundamental human rights and freedoms at all levels of service iv. Teamwork: It is in realization that together we achieve more. That we cannot afford to ignore the enormous strength we have when we all work for a common good v. Stewardship: It is our responsibility to be faithful custodians of all the resources entrusted to us by nature and partners as we go about our work for today, and in mind of the future generations to benefit from the same. vi.
