Yesterday, we had a productive meeting with the Engineering Students Association Chair, Rahma Anuro, and the Civil Engineering Department Chairman, Dr. Eng. Simpson Osano, to explore long-term collaborations through the interdisciplinary IEEE societies—particularly the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society. This initiative was inspired by Dr. Osano’s passion for upskilling students and fostering innovation, as well as the momentum from recent student-industry collaborations with NAS INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS LIMITED led by Eng.Nicholas Airo,PE. These partnerships emphasize the importance of equipping students with the knowledge and tools to tackle emerging technologies. We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to building a brighter, more innovative future! Mbele iko sawa!🚀 IEEE |IEEE Kenya Section | Kithinji Muriungi | Stephen Okwiri | Cosmas R.
