Despite their heightened vulnerabilty, children have largely been ignored in the fight against climate change. Only about 2.4 percent of tracked climate finance reaches projects prioritizing child-responsive activities. At Involvethechildren.org we are doing everything possible to ensure that the most affected children are identified and involved in environmental conservation and the broader fight against climate change. Join us today by writing to us through info@involvethechildren.org.

Children are the future. But the future they inherit depends on the choices we make today. Environmental conservation is not just about protecting nature—it’s about safeguarding the world for the generations to come. Every tree we plant, every drop of water we save, and every effort we make to reduce pollution shapes a healthier planet for our children.

Moringa Oleifera, commonly known in Kenya as just "Moringa" is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree of the family Moringaceae, native to the Indian subcontinent. It's seed pods, leaves and bark are used as vegetables and for herbal medicine. It is also used for water purification. Involvethechildren.org looks to create practical incentives around conservation for children and their families. We love to grow trees that have significant nutritional, medicinal and economic value in addition to the amazing benefits they provide for our environment and our climate.

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now - A great Chinese proverb that highlights the primacy of making sacrifices today for the long term benefit of the next generation. But we also have to think about how conservation can benefit communities in the near and medium terms. Visit involvethechildren.org to find out how we work with children to make that possible.

Involving the Children in small consistent actions like tree planting, is one of the best ways to teach environmental stewardship. Climate change is hitting the poorest rural communities the hardest and at Involve the Children, we take the battle to the areas that are most vulnerable. We are galvanizing a collective conscience in these areas and making conservation a daily conversation. But we are not just creating awareness. We are taking actual practical steps towards working equipping the next generation with the tools they need to part of this movement. November 20th is #WorldChildrensDay, an important date as it is the date in 1989 when the UN General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child. World Children's Day offers each one of us a reminder to vigorously advocate, promote and celebrate children's rights, translating into dialogues and actions that will build a better world for children. #InvolvetheChildren, visit involvethechildren.org

At InvolvetheChildren.org, we focus on engaging rural children in structured environmental conservation efforts to instill a deep sense of responsibility and stewardship towards our planet. With the rural hinterlands bearing the brunt of climate change, environmental conservation is no longer a choice but an imperative.

At Involve the Children we believe that for sustainable success, economic incentives have to be tied to environmental conservation, not just at higher levels (e.g. carbon markets), but crucially at the grassroots (e.g. rural communities), where most of the direct impact of climate change is being witnessed. #Cop29Baku #InvolvetheChildren

One billion children (nearly half of the world's children) live in extremely high-risk countries with respect to climate change. These children experience multiple climate shocks combined with poor essential services such as water, sanitation and healthcare. As climate change disrupts the environment, children are being forced to grow up in an increasingly dangerous world. This is a crisis that threatens their health, nutrition, education, development, survival and future. Climate change is very much a children rights issue. #involvethechildren #COP29Azerbaijan
