The second half of the year, and particularly the last quarter, is usually the busy period in the global mobility industry. There are several local and regional electric mobility events coming up people, please fasten your seatbelts!
1. ROUNDTABLE ANALYSIS on Developing Competent Workforce for E-Mobility, organized by the Green Global Footprint Initiative. It will be held at the University of Nairobi main entrance on Harry Thuku Road, University Towers 4th Floor Room MLT 401. Registration was free but it has already been closed due to high turnout. 2. ELECTRIC MOBILITY TECHNICAL TRAINING in Nairobi, organized by Advanced Mobility Africa in partnership with Kenya Power, from Mon 2nd - Sat 7th Sept at the KPLC Training School at Ruaraka. At the heart of the training is the teardown of a fully functioning electric vehicle and reassembly by the participants & a field visit to several e-mobility firms around Nairobi. Participants must attend all sessions carried out by the globally certified Master EV Technician to get a Certificate of Completion. 3. RENEWABLE ENERGY WEEK CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION in Kigali, organized by the Energy Private Developers (EPD). It is set to take place from 9-11th September 2024 at the Kigali Marriott Hotel. This year’s event is themed “Accelerating Rwanda’s Renewable Energy Transition and Adoption.” Green Transport and Electric Mobility will be one of the key thematic areas. AFRICA E-MOBILITY WEEK in Nairobi, organized by the Africa E-Mobility Alliance with a conference from 17-19th Sept 2024 at the Sarit Centre and a public exhibition on 21st Sept at the Karen Waterfront. It offers exclusive networking opportunities for industry leaders, innovators and professionals to advance sustainable mobility. 5. SMARTER MOBILITY AFRICA SUMMIT in Johannesburg, organized by VUKA Group Group from 2-4th October 2024 at the Gallagher Convention Centre. Under the theme of "Embracing The New Urban Era", the summit will feature a high-level audience of government officials, policy makers, investors, urban planners, fleet managers, transport authorities from across Africa.
