From Exhibitor to Panelist: A Full Circle Moment at Kenya Innovation Week 2024 Last year, I stood proudly as an exhibitor at Kenya Innovation Week (#KIW) showcasing a dream and a mission. This year, I returned, not as an exhibitor but as an invited panelist at the Student Summit, speaking on a stage alongside some of the most brilliant minds, engaging in conversations that re-imagine the future of our continent. The theme this year was "Re-imagining Africa", and I couldn't help but reflect on how impossible it is to envision Africa's future without addressing the very foundation of progress: #qualityeducation. Education that connects classroom lessons to real-life experiences, sparks curiosity, and equips students with the tools they need to navigate and shape the modern world. As I sat on that panel, speaking passionately about what drives me daily, I was reminded of why we started Wekraft Limited just a year ago. Our mission was simple yet profound: to revolutionize education by moving beyond rote learning and creating avenues for students to discover their passions, sharpen their creativity, and develop real-world skills. I envisioned an Africa where education inspires innovation, and learners are prepared not just for exams, but for life. This moment was a culmination of lessons, growth, and resilience. It's been a year of relentless work, countless challenges, and profound achievements that have shaped us and the communities we serve. Being on that stage felt like a full-circle moment—proof that dreams, when fueled by passion and supported by the right people, can spark something extraordinary. I wouldn’t have reached this point without the unwavering support of incredible individuals and organizations: 🌟 The Wavumbuzi Entrepreneurship Challenge Africa Team for nurturing the vision. 🌟 Jasiri4Africa, for believing in our potential and empowering us to thrive. 🌟 Staphord Nkumbuye whose support in our mission has been a beacon of hope. 🌟 Isaac Maweu and Lilian Wangare , for working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. 🌟 And all the #partners and #stakeholders who have walked with us, shared our belief in the power of education, and given us the opportunity to grow. To my fellow entrepreneurs, educators, and dreamers: keep building. Let us continue to re-imagine Africa, starting at the root—by transforming how we educate the next generation. Thank you, Wavumbuzi Entrepreneurship Challenge Africa and Kenya Innovation Week, for this honor. The journey is far from over, but moments like these remind me that we’re on the right path. Let’s keep sparking change together. #KenyaInnovationWeek2024 #ReImaginingAfrica #QualityEducation #WeKraftJourney #PassionForEducation #ThankYou

Last week, I had the privilege of attending the Kenya Innovation Week (KIW) as a Wavumbuzi ambassador for the Coast region. This incredible event brought together the best learners from the Wavumbuzi Entrepreneurship Challenge Africa , where top-performing participants from across the country were recognized for their remarkable achievements. It was truly inspiring to witness these young innovators being celebrated for their hard work, and I couldn’t be prouder to be part of their journey! In addition to the awards ceremony, the learners also had an exciting opportunity to go on a field tour to Numeral IOT gaining valuable insights into cutting-edge technology and its real-world applications. A heartfelt thank you to Wavumbuzi Entrepreneurship Challenge Africa for creating such a memorable experience for these bright minds. The future is undoubtedly promising for these young innovators, and I’m excited to continue being part of this impactful initiative!
