actualización del mercado de canela 2024 El precio de la canela de Sri Lanka ha aumentado continuamente durante las últimas 3 o 4 semanas. La principal razón del aumento del precio ha sido la desfavorable condición climática que prevalece actualmente en Sri Lanka. La cosecha de canela se ve afectada por fuertes lluvias que no son favorables para la cosecha prevista; cuanto más llueve, más difícil les resulta a los agricultores controlar el nivel de humedad del producto, lo que a su vez complica el proceso de pelado. Un buen clima es vital para garantizar una buena cosecha. Por este motivo, los precios han subido, ya que la oferta es muy limitada. Para garantizar que se obtenga una buena carga y se controle la humedad, se necesita un poco más de tiempo de lo habitual para preparar un envío. En términos estadísticos, la cosecha también es escasa en casi un 30% y la llegada de existencias de canela a los centros de recolección se ha ralentizado. La oferta limitada de canela se ve obligada por la mayor demanda de países de América del Sur como Perú, Bolivia, Ecuador, Guatemala y México. Los clientes están comprando carga para asegurarse de tener suficientes existencias para la temporada navideña. Con una escasez del 30% en la cosecha y una demanda proveniente de los mercados de destino, es muy probable que el precio siga subiendo.
