Today we celebrate the World Sustainable Transport Day 🌍 This day is of particular importance to us, as it serves as an opportunity to reflect on our working methods from an ecological point of view and demonstrates our commitment and dedication to our slogan ECOlogistics For Our Future. The shift from road to rail is not only a reliable and safe option but also an ecological one. Compared to road transport, rail freight consumes six times less energy and emits nine times less CO2. In 2023 over 86,000 trucks have been transferred from road to rail through CFL intermodal activities, saving more than 115,000 tonnes of CO2. Every ton of CO2 saved is a step towards an eco-friendlier future, which is an integral part of our corporate identity.

This event was held at the Railport Arad with the aim of promoting the new connection between Bettembourg-Dudelange and Curtici.
