Last week, a group of #FJD members had the privilege of getting a behind-the-scenes look at POST Luxembourg’s Centre de Tri Bettembourg 📦, where tens of thousands of letters and parcels are processed daily. We were introduced to the largely automated processes 🤖 that ensure mail is delivered swiftly and efficiently 🚚. We also explored the adjacent Centre de Distribution, where we learned about POST Luxembourg’s commitment to sustainability 🌱 and their investments in an eco-friendly, electric fleet. To our members, the visit offered a fascinating and inspiring mix of logistics, cutting-edge technology and innovation. A heartfelt thank you to the entire POST Luxembourg team for their warm and generous welcome, especially to Managing Director Claude Strasser, Director of Post Courrier Mario Treinen, HR, Communications and Public Relations Manager isabelle faber, Centre de Tri Manager Laurent Winandy, Head of Distribution David Badois, Head of Sales and Marketing Xavier Kieffer, Head of Product Management and Solution Development Michael Billert, Mobility Manager Marco Etienne, and Press Relations Manager Paul Rausch. 🙏 Additionally, thanks to Carole Bentz from the FJD committee and the Conferences and Company Visits team for organising this memorable visit. 👏 #postluxembourg #innovationinlogistics #smartlogistics #futureofmail #electricfleet

Freshly elected, our 2024/205 Board of Directors and Management Board of FJD - Fédération des Jeunes Dirigeants d’Entreprise de Luxembourg, led by our newly appointed president Stéphanie Damgé, was officially introduced at our Annual General Assembly held at Encøre and attended by 300 members. 🤩 In today’s world, businesses are navigating a landscape characterized by extremes. From economic volatility and geopolitical tensions to societal inequalities and climate crises, these challenges are becoming the new norm. The "Age of Extremes" demands that businesses not only adapt, but also thrive amidst these multifaceted disruptions and to identify opportunities for innovation. It would almost require superpowers… 😉 Heartfelt thanks to outgoing president Carole Retter for a truly transformative year! And special thanks to Benedikt Böhm, CEO of DYNAFIT and founder of Helping Bands, for his thought-provoking keynote speech at this year’s AGM. Benedikt drew from his extensive experience as both a business leader and a mountaineer to share his ideas on how to best navigate extremes.
