👉 Olpha continues to invest in its development and competitiveness, with the volume of investments over the past three years already reaching €42 million! We are investing in product development, modernisation, and production expansion. Our task for the coming years is to grow dynamically and maintain a level of operational results that enables us to continue making the necessary investments. These are essential for developing a competitive product portfolio and accelerating the growth of finished-form medicines in Western markets. Our first two new products reached patients in the Baltic states at the end of this year, and in the coming years, we will be able to offer patients an increasing number of our products in new therapeutic groups. 👉 Blood Donor Day at Olpha, in collaboration with the Latvia State Blood Donor Centre, is a long-standing tradition at our company. This week, on Blood Donor Day, 37 of our colleagues helped those in need by donating more than 16 liters of blood. Most of the participants of Blood Donor Day have donated blood before. For example, our colleague Vladimirs, who posed for a picture, donated blood for the 22nd time this week. "I've been donating blood for many years because that's how I can help others. 👉 Continuing our successful cooperation with the local municipality in Olaines novada pašvaldība, we have provided 200 more dowries for newborn babies in Olaine. The dowry bag, worth 50 EUR, includes baby care and hygiene items, a blanket, bib, and clothes. This donation project helps us build a connection with the local community and is a small contribution to improving the demographic situation in our municipality. It also allows us to send our best wishes to our employees during their time away on parental leave, showing them that we are eagerly awaiting their return. 👉 On 15 November, Olpha organised the annual conference for healthcare specialists “Together for Health: Within Reach”. The event gathered 200 medical and pharmaceutical professionals to explore the latest developments in urology, pharmacotherapy, neurology, and psychiatry. Participants had the opportunity to hear from experts in Latvia and around the world, including Egils Vjaters, Head of the Urology Centre at Paula Stradiņa Klīniskā universitātes slimnīca; Inga Urtane, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Rīga Stradiņš University; Jānis Mednieks, Head of the Neurology Department at AS Veselības centru apvienība (VCA); Elmars Terauds, Vice President of the Latvijas Psihiatru asociācija and Head of the Psychiatry and Narcology Outpatient Centre “Pārdaugava”; Ramona Valante, neurologist at the Paula Stradiņa Klīniskā universitātes slimnīca Reto neiroloģisko slimību centrs; and Guna Dansone, Head of the Biomedical Research Department at Olpha.
