Big Ambitions, Small Footprint: Delivering a High-Quality, Versatile 5.6m Custom Superyacht Tender Designing a tender for a 50m superyacht that packs performance, comfort and versatility into a 5.6m platform is no small feat. SPARK Marine Projects took on the challenge of creating a custom tender that, despite its compact size, delivers high-end quality and functionality typically reserved for larger boats. By overcoming the engineering and design constraints of a smaller footprint, SPARK crafted a tender that balances guest comfort, watersports capability and mothership integration. The S560 tender will be available for visits onboard her mothership during the Monaco Yacht Show next week. Looking ahead to 2024, we will be researching the following topics in the coming months: 1) What are the gaps and opportunities in the tender and chase boat market? 2) Does electrification have a place in superyacht tenders? 3) Is there a future for foiling tenders? 4) Will we see hybrid propulsion with range extenders integrated? 5) What are promising build materials and new approaches to the construction process?
