Dear Parents, On behalf of the entire school and myself, I sincerely wish you a happy start to 2025! These are challenging times, and we often find ourselves lost in the stream of events, searching for stability in the ordinary and in genuine human values. One such pillar of support is the future of our children—their development, health, knowledge, and competitiveness. This is why Adriatic College places special emphasis on: • the quality of education, • safety, • fostering a healthy and welcoming environment within the school community, • maintaining a productive atmosphere. Balancing all these aspects is not easy, but we do everything we can. Our students win Olympiads, achieve outstanding results in final exams, and succeed in creative and athletic pursuits. The school continues to grow in quality without expanding in numbers. More and more applications are coming from families who choose Montenegro as their place of residence thanks to our school. Moreover, it is no longer just Russian-speaking families. This is crucial for our development as an international school. Adriatic College already offers several educational programs, allowing families to choose the optimal academic path for their children based on their abilities, opportunities, and future plans. Ahead of us are almost six more months of studies, fun events, and serious activities for our children, including: • the traditional Spring Ball, • fairs, • sports competitions. The students will experience personal victories, genuine friendships, and new impressions. They will develop valuable skills. I wish you understanding and support from your sons and daughters. Practice Instead of Theory: The Lesson on “Geography - Employment Sectors” Took Place at the Largest Shopping Mall on the Coast, Mega Mall! Yesterday, students of the Pearson US1 international program had an unusual lesson on the subject of Global Citizenship. Instead of studying the topic in a classroom, the students, together with their teacher David, applied their knowledge in practice at Mega Mall Budva ✨ ☕🍪 To start the day, the students gathered over a cup of aromatic tea and coffee with some sweets to recharge and enjoy the festive atmosphere – after all, it was Christmas yesterday! After this cozy beginning, they set off to explore the shopping mall and find answers to questions related to globalization, ecology, and inclusivity ♻️. 🔎 What did the students explore? • Types of businesses: from clothing and electronics stores to entertainment zones 🛍️ • Globalization: finding products from different countries and learning about their origins 🗺️ • Ecology: looking for examples of eco-friendly products and discussing how the mall supports environmental initiatives 🌿 • Inclusivity: examining how accessible the infrastructure is for people with disabilities (ramps, elevators, parking spaces) ♿ 🌟 This format of lessons brings variety to the learning process and allows students to see how the topics they study are applied in real life. It makes education not only useful but also exciting 🧩! 🤝 Moreover, such lessons foster team spirit, strengthen the bond between students, and create lasting memories! 🌟 Learning to Do Good Together! 🌟 The Exit Point for the theme “Living Together” in the second grade of the IPC international program ended with a charity bake sale! In geography and history lessons, the students explored the concept of community and how it can help people. Inspired by what they learned, they organized a bake sale and raised €215! With this money, representatives of the school purchased groceries and delivered them to the charity organization Narodna Kuhinja Budva @narodna.kuhinja.budve , which provides food to people in difficult life situations 🙌🏻. A huge thank you to our students, teachers, parents who helped with the preparations, and, of course, everyone who participated in our bake sale, bought delicious treats, and supported us!
