     Louis Philippe I d'Orléans, Roi de France was born on 6 October 1773 at Palais Royale, Paris, FranceG.3 He was the son of Louis-Philippe II Joseph d'Orléans, Duc d'Orléans and Louise Marie Adélaïde de Bourbon.4 He married Maria Amelia Teresa di Borbone, Principessa delle Due Sicilie, daughter of Ferdinando I di Borbone, Re delle Due Sicilie and Marie Caroline Erzherzogin von Österreich, on 25 November 1809 at Palermo, Sicily, ItalyG.3 He died on 26 August 1850 at age 76 at Esher, Surrey, EnglandG.3 He was buried at Weybridge, Surrey, EnglandG.3 He was buried in 1876 at Dreux, Department Eure et Loire, FranceG.3
     He gained the title of Duc de Valois between 6 October 1773 and 1785.3 He gained the title of Duc de Chartres between 1785 and 1793.3 He gained the title of Duc d'Orléans between 1793 and 1830.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General on 31 July 1830.3 He succeeded as the Roi Louis Philippe I de France on 1 August 1830.5,6 He was crowned King of the French on 9 August 1830 at Chartres, FranceG.3 He was styled as Comte de Neuilly in 1848.3 He was deposed as King of France in 1848.
