Isabel of Lennox, Countess of Lennox was born circa 1370.3 She was the daughter of Duncan, 8th Earl of Lennox and Helen Campbell.3 She married Murdoch Stewart, 2nd Duke of Albany, son of Robert Stewart, 1st Duke of Albany and Margaret Graham, Countess of Menteith, from 17 February 1391/92 to 8 November 1392.3 She died circa 1458 at Inchmurrin Castle, Loch Lomond, ScotlandG, without surviving issue.4
She was also known as Elizabeth of.3 Her married name became Stewart. After her marriage, Isabel of Lennox, Countess of Lennox was styled as Duchess of Albany on 3 September 1420.4 She gained the title of Countess of Lennox on 12 May 1437, suo jure.3

Duncan, 8th Earl of Lennox was born circa 1345. He is the son of Walter of Faslane and Margaret, Countess of Lennox. He married Helen Campbell, daughter of Sir Archibald Campbell of Lochow, before 1373.2 He died in 1425, beheaded.

Helen Campbell is the daughter of Sir Archibald Campbell of Lochow.1 She married, firstly, Iain Macdonald, son of Iain Macdonald, Lord of the Isles and Amie MacRuari, before 1369.2 She married Duncan, 8th Earl of Lennox, son of Walter of Faslane and Margaret, Countess of Lennox, before 1373.2

Walter Stewart, Master of Fife was born between 1394 and 1410.1 He was the son of Murdoch Stewart, 2nd Duke of Albany and Isabel of Lennox, Countess of Lennox.2 He married, firstly, unknown daughter Campbell, daughter of Sir Duncan Campbell, 1st Lord Campbell and Lady Marjorie Stewart, in a unlawfully, presumably for want of a papal dispensation for consanguinity marriage.3 He and Lady Eupheme Graham were engaged on 5 September 1415 but the marriage did not take place.4 He married, secondly, Lady Janet Erskine, daughter of Sir Robert Erskine of that Ilk, 1st Lord Erskine and Lady Elizabeth Lindsay, on 24 April 1421, by Papal dispensation, although it is doubtful that this marriage was ever consummated.4 He died on 24 May 1425 at Castle Hill, Stirling, Stirlingshire, ScotlandG, beheaded, along with his father.2 He was buried at Church of the Black Friars, Stirling, Stirlingshire, ScotlandG.2
