Roger Beauchamp1

     Roger Beauchamp was the son of Roger Beauchamp, 1st Lord Beauchamp (of Bletsoe).1 He married, secondly, Joan Clopton, daughter of Sir Walter Clopton, after 1366.2 He died in 1373/74.2 He died intestate and his estate was administered to his wife on 15 May 1374.2

     Sir Roger Beauchamp was baptised on 14 August 1362.2 He was born at Bletso, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Roger Beauchamp.1 He married Mary (?)1 He died on 13 May 1406 at age 43.2
     In 1384 he had livery of all of his lands, including Bletsoe, Bedfordshire and Spelsbury, Oxfordshire and Lydiard Tregoz, Wiltshire.1,2 He was appointed Knight before 18 February 1393.1,2 In 1395 he attended the King into Ireland.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedfordshire in 1399.2 His last will was dated 11 March 1406.2

     Richard Beauchamp, 2nd Baron Beauchamp of Powick was born circa 1435.1 He was the son of John Beauchamp, 1st Baron Beauchamp of Powick and Margaret Ferrers.1 He married Elizabeth Stafford, daughter of Sir Humphrey Stafford and Eleanor Aylesbury, on 27 January 1446/47 at Private Chapel, Beauchamp's Court, Alcester, Warwickshire, EnglandG, by special licence.1 He died on 19 January 1502/3 at Broomhill, Fife, ScotlandG, without surviving male issue.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Beauchamp of Powick, co. Worcester [E., 1447] between 9 April 1475 and 19 April 1475.1 On 8 June 1512 at Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, EnglandG, an inquest was held.1 On 15 October 1512 at SpittlegateG an inquest was again held, by Grantham.1
     On his death, the Barony of Beauchamp of Powick became extinct.1
