     Dorcas Baker was born circa 1785.2 She was the daughter of Hugh Cossart Baker and Dorcas Phipps.1 She married General Peter des Brisay Stewart, son of Charles Stewart and Mary Brisay, on 19 February 1810 at London, England.1,2 She died in 1841.2
     From 19 February 1810, her married name became Stewart.1

     He gained the rank of General in the Royal Artillery.1 He was commissioned circa 1799, in the service of the Royal Artillery.2
