     Robert Lumsden, 1st of Cushnie was the son of Robert Lumsden.2 He married, firstly, Isobel Forbes, daughter of John Forbes of Terpersie.1 He married, secondly, Jean Calder.1 He died in 1546.1
     In 1509 he received a charter of Cushnie in free barony from King James IV.1 He had 17 younger children.1
