     Major George Howard Brush was born on 2 September 1865.¹ He was the son of Augustus Edward Brush and Cornelia Angelina Brooke.² He married May Florence Farrell, daughter of Edward Farrell, on 30 January 1897.¹ He died on 30 November 1944 at age 79.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, with The King's Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War, with 36th (Ulster) Division, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He lived at Drumnabreeze, County Down, Ireland^G.¹

     Lucy Mary Mildred Brush was the daughter of Augustus Edward Brush and Cornelia Angelina Brooke.² She died on 11 February 1963, unmarried.¹
