     Sir William Payne-Gallwey, 2nd Bt. was born in 1807.1 He was the son of General Sir William Payne, 1st Bt. and Lady Harriet Quin.2 He married Emily Anne Frankland-Russell, daughter of Sir Robert Frankland-Russell, 7th Bt. and Louisa Ann Murray, on 10 November 1847.1 He died on 19 December 1881.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Payne [U.K., 1812] on 16 April 1831.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 7th Fusiliers.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Thirsk between 1851 and 1881.1 On 2 October 1882 his name was legally changed to William Payne-Frankland by Royal Licence.2

     Emily Anne Frankland-Russell was the daughter of Sir Robert Frankland-Russell, 7th Bt. and Louisa Ann Murray.1,2 She married Sir William Payne-Gallwey, 2nd Bt., son of General Sir William Payne, 1st Bt. and Lady Harriet Quin, on 10 November 1847.1 She died on 13 September 1913.1
     From 10 November 1847, her married name became Payne-Gallwey. On 2 October 1882 her name was legally changed to Emily Anne Payne-Frankland by Royal Licence.1 She lived at Thirkleby Park, Thirsk, Yorkshire, England.2

     Sir Ralph William Frankland-Payne-Gallwey, 3rd Bt. was born on 19 August 1848 at London, England.1 He was the son of Sir William Payne-Gallwey, 2nd Bt. and Emily Anne Frankland-Russell.2 He married Edith Alice Usborne, daughter of Thomas Masters Usborne, on 25 April 1877.1 He died on 24 November 1916 at age 68.1
     He was given the name of Ralph William Payne-Gallwey at birth.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Payne [U.K., 1812] on 19 December 1891.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.1 On 4 April 1914 his name was legally changed to Ralph William Frankland-Payne-Gallwey by Royal Licence.1

     William Thomas Payne-Gallwey was born on 25 March 1881 at Cobh, County Laois, Ireland.1,2 He was the son of Sir Ralph William Frankland-Payne-Gallwey, 3rd Bt. and Edith Alice Usborne.3 He died on 14 September 1914 at age 33, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1908 5th Class.1 He was awarded the Coronation Medal in 1911.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.1 He fought in the First World War.1
