Sir John Malcolm of Innertiel and Lochore, 1st Bt. was the son of John Malcolm of Balbedie, Lochore and Innertiel and Margaret Arnot.2 He married Hon. Emilia Balfour, daughter of John Balfour, 3rd Lord Balfour of Burleigh and Isabel Balfour.1 He died on 30 March 1729.1
He was created 1st Baronet Malcolm, of Balbedie and Innertiel in the County of Fife [Nova Scotia] on 25 July 1665.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kinross-shire in 1711.1

Alexander Malcolm, Lord Lochore was born on 13 December 1650.1 He was the son of John Malcolm of Balbedie, Lochore and Innertiel and Margaret Arnot.2 He died on 17 September 1692 at age 41, without issue.1

Sir John Malcolm of Lochore, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 4 May 1681 at Ballingry, Fife, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of Sir John Malcolm of Innertiel and Lochore, 1st Bt. and Hon. Emilia Balfour.3 He married Isabel Balfour, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. John Balfour and Barbara Ross, in 1709.1 He died on 12 August 1753 at age 72.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Malcolm, of Balbedie and Innertiel in the County of Fife [N.S., 1665] on 30 March 1729.1
