     Henry Camville Layard was born on 24 January 1886.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Brownlow Villiers Layard and Clara Lattey.¹ He married Constantia Langford Frances Pellew, daughter of Fleetwood Hugo Pellew and Dorothy Mary Anderson, on 10 October 1914.²

     Arthur Raymond Layard was born on 2 September 1888.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Brownlow Villiers Layard and Clara Lattey.¹

     George Henry Layard was born on 15 February 1806.¹ He was the son of Reverend Brownlow Villiers Layard and Louisa Port.¹ He married Eliza Matilda Hughes.¹ He died on 26 July 1848 at age 42, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 86th Regiment.¹

     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹

     John Beville Layard was born on 21 September 1809.¹ He was the son of Reverend Brownlow Villiers Layard and Louisa Port.¹ He married Harriet Cobbe Conway, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Thomas Henry Somerset Conway, on 29 March 1842.¹ He died on 12 February 1846 at age 36.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 22nd MAdras Native Infantry.¹

     Harriet Cobbe Conway was born on 30 November 1821.¹ She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Thomas Henry Somerset Conway.¹ She married John Beville Layard, son of Reverend Brownlow Villiers Layard and Louisa Port, on 29 March 1842.¹ She died on 14 April 1907 at age 85 at Boulogne, France.¹
     From 29 March 1842, her married name became Layard.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Thomas Henry Somerset Conway was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Beville Brownlow Layard was born on 3 June 1845.¹ He was the son of John Beville Layard and Harriet Cobbe Conway.¹ He married Ann Betts, daughter of John Poynter Betts, on 31 August 1881 at New Plymouth, New Zealand.¹

     Ann Betts is the daughter of John Poynter Betts.¹ She married Beville Brownlow Layard, son of John Beville Layard and Harriet Cobbe Conway, on 31 August 1881 at New Plymouth, New Zealand.¹
     From 31 August 1881, her married name became Layard.¹
