     Captain Peter Osborne was baptised on 4 September 1690.¹ He was the son of Sir John Osborne, 2nd Bt. and Martha Kelynge.² He married Mary Skelton, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Bevil Skelton, in 1718.¹ He died on 13 February 1754 at age 63.¹
     He was Captain at Royal Hospital, Greenwich, Kent, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Mary Skelton was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Bevil Skelton.² She married, firstly, William Molyneux, 4th Viscount Molyneux, son of Caryll Molyneux, 3rd Viscount Molyneux and Mary Barlow, on 22 July 1716.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Peter Osborne, son of Sir John Osborne, 2nd Bt. and Martha Kelynge, in 1718.¹ She died on 1 April 1765.¹
     After her marriage, Mary Skelton was styled as Viscountess Molyneux on 22 July 1716. From 22 July 1716, her married name became Molyneux.¹ From 1718, her married name became Osborne.

     George Osborne was born in 1722.¹ He was the son of Captain Peter Osborne and Mary Skelton.² He died, young.¹

     Charles Osborne was born in 1723.¹ He was the son of Captain Peter Osborne and Mary Skelton.²
     He gained the rank of Army Officer.¹

     Frances Maria Osborne was born in 1720.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Peter Osborne and Mary Skelton.²
     She was a nun.¹

     Robert Osborne was born in June 1696.¹ He was the son of Sir John Osborne, 2nd Bt. and Martha Kelynge.²

     Admiral Henry Osborne was baptised on 27 August 1694.² He was the son of Sir John Osborne, 2nd Bt. and Martha Kelynge.³ He was also reported to have been born on 26 June 1697.¹ He married Mary Hughes, daughter of Richard Hughes.¹ He died on 4 February 1771 at age 76.^1,2
     He was commissioned in 1710 with the rank of officer, in the service of the Royal Navy.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1717.² He held the office of Governor of Newfoundland between 1729 and 1737.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedford.¹ He was Commander-in-Chief of the Leeward Islands.¹ He fought in the Battle of Cartagena in 1757.² He gained the rank of Admiral of the Blue in 1757.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedfordshire between 1758 and 1761.²

     Richard Hughes was Commissioner of the Navy.¹

     Mary Hughes is the daughter of Richard Hughes.² She married Admiral Henry Osborne, son of Sir John Osborne, 2nd Bt. and Martha Kelynge.¹
     Her married name became Osborne.
