     Robert Shirley MacDonnell Salt was born in 1888.¹ He was the son of Sir Shirley Harris Salt, 3rd Bt. and Charlotte Jane MacDonnell.² He married, firstly, Sybil Stella Marquis, daughter of H. G. Marquis, on 22 April 1914.¹ He and Sybil Stella Marquis were divorced in 1942.¹ He married, secondly, Gertrude Ada Elizabeth Emma Phillips, daughter of Reverend Robert Phillips, on 14 March 1942.¹ He died on 24 April 1943, without issue.¹

     Sybil Stella Marquis is the daughter of H. G. Marquis.² She married Robert Shirley MacDonnell Salt, son of Sir Shirley Harris Salt, 3rd Bt. and Charlotte Jane MacDonnell, on 22 April 1914.¹ She and Robert Shirley MacDonnell Salt were divorced in 1942.¹
     From 22 April 1914, her married name became Salt.

     Shirley Edward Philip Salt was born on 19 September 1891.¹ He was the son of Sir Shirley Harris Salt, 3rd Bt. and Charlotte Jane MacDonnell.² He died on 23 December 1895 at age 4.¹

     Dorothy Dove Salt was the daughter of Sir Shirley Harris Salt, 3rd Bt. and Charlotte Jane MacDonnell.² She died on 19 December 1968, unmarried.¹

     Alice Fanny Sumner was born in 1849.¹ She was the daughter of John Henry Robertson Sumner and Antonette Maria Edwards.¹

     John A. Derbyshire was born in 1945 at Amersham, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ He is the son of Charles R. Derbyshire and Gioja Vivienne Kathleen Chapman.¹

     Bella Anna Adnutt was born on 28 November 1797. She was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Adnutt and Margery Catherine Green.¹ She married Sir Willoughby Wolstan Dixie, 7th Bt., son of Reverend Beaumont Joseph Dixie and Margaret Shewen, on 21 November 1815.¹ She died on 28 November 1830 at age 33.¹
     From 21 November 1815, her married name became Dixie.

     George Henry Philips is the son of Francis Aspinall Philips.

     Dorothy Baker Brown was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. William Baker Brown.² She married Sir John William Titus Salt, 4th Bt., son of Sir Shirley Harris Salt, 3rd Bt. and Charlotte Jane MacDonnell, on 11 September 1913.¹ She and Sir John William Titus Salt, 4th Bt. were divorced in 1926.¹ She died on 25 October 1952.¹
     From 11 September 1913, her married name became Salt.
