Dionysia Stonhouse1

     Dionysia Stonhouse was the daughter of George Stonhouse and Elizabeth Gibson.2 She married, firstly, Walter Lawson.3 She married, secondly, Sir Edward Hext, son of George Hext and Mary Parker.1 She died on 30 July 1633.3
     Her married name became Hext.

     Sir Edward Hext was born circa 1550.2 He was the son of George Hext and Mary Parker.2 He married Agnes Hunton, daughter of William Hunton.2 He married, secondly, Dionysia Stonhouse, daughter of George Stonhouse and Elizabeth Gibson.1 He died in February 1624.2
     He lived at Ham, Somerset, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Taunton in 1597.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Taunton in 1604.2 He was appointed Knight on 12 May 1604.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Somerset from 1607 to 1608.2

     Elizabeth Powell is the daughter of John Powell.1 She married Sir William Stonhouse, 1st Bt., son of George Stonhouse and Elizabeth Woodroffe, on 7 June 1592.1
     From 7 June 1592, her married name became Stonhouse.

Sir John Stonhouse, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir John Stonhouse, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1602.1 He was the son of Sir William Stonhouse, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Powell.2 He died on 14 June 1632, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was admitted to Gray's Inn.1 He held the office of Gentleman Bedchamber to King Charles I.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Abingdon from 1628 to 1629.1 He was appointed Knight in 1629.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Stonhouse, of Radley, Berkshire [E., 1628] on 5 February 1631/32.1
