     Jane Caroline Astley was baptised on 21 April 1820 at Quenington, Gloucestershire, England.2 She was the daughter of Reverend John W. Astley.1 She married, firstly, John Trevelyan, son of Reverend Walter Trevelyan and Charlotte Hudson, on 25 October 1838.1 She married, secondly, Thomas Cuffe Adams on 29 October 1860.1 She died in September 1877 at age 57.1
     From 25 October 1838, her married name became Trevelyan. From 29 October 1860, her married name became Adams.1

     He lived at St. Perranuthnoe, Cornwall, England.1

     Sir Walter John Trevelyan, 8th Bt. was born on 28 January 1866.1 He was the son of Willoughby John Trevelyan and Eliza Dupuis.2 He married Alice Edith Money, daughter of William James Money and Emily Harriet Gray, on 16 July 1901.1 He died on 23 December 1931 at age 65.1
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Trevelyan, of Nettlecombe, co. Somerset [E., 1662] on 18 April 1891.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cornwall in 1906.1 He was Lord of the Manor of St. Perranuthnoe, Marazion, Cornwall.1
