Hon. Frances Courtenay was the daughter of William Courtenay, 1st Viscount Courtenay of Powderham Castle and Lady Frances Finch.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Sir John Wrottesley, 8th Bt., son of Rev. Sir Richard Wrottesley, 7th Bt. and Lady Mary Leveson-Gower, on 7 June 1770.1 She died on 24 February 1828.1

Giovanni II Palaeologus, Marchese del Monferrato was born on 5 February 1321.1 He was the son of Theodorus Palaeologus, Prince of Byzantium and Argentina Spinola.1 He married Isabel Reina de Mallorca, daughter of Jaime II, Rey de Majorca and Constanza de Aragón, on 4 September 1358 at Montpellier, France.1 He died on 19 March 1372 at age 51.1
