     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1896 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a practising solicitor in 1902.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1919.1 He lived at Boston, Lincolnshire, England.1
