Diana Katharine Russell was born on 28 February 1909.1 She was the daughter of Jack Southwell Russell, 25th Lord de Clifford and Evelyn Victoria Anne Chandler.1 She married, firstly, Mervyn Hesseltine Taylor, son of L. H. Taylor, on 9 December 1933.1 She and Mervyn Hesseltine Taylor were divorced in 1948.1 She married, secondly, Thomas Elder-Jones, son of David Jones, on 29 July 1948.1 She died on 16 March 1978 at age 69.1
     From 9 December 1933, her married name became Taylor. From 29 July 1948, her married name became Elder-Jones.
