     Lady Mary Katherine Crichton was born on 8 July 1905.3 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry William Crichton, Viscount Crichton and Lady Mary Cavendish Grosvenor.3 She married James Edward Hamilton, 4th Duke of Abercorn, son of James Albert Edward Hamilton, 3rd Duke of Abercorn and Lady Rosalind Cecilia Caroline Bingham, on 9 February 1928 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, Covent Garden, London, EnglandG.1,4 She died on 2 February 1990 at age 84.1
     On 29 September 1920 she was granted the rank of an earl's daughter.3 Her married name became Hamilton. After her marriage, Lady Mary Katherine Crichton was styled as Duchess of Abercorn on 12 September 1953. She held the office of Mistress of the Robes to HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother between 1964 and 1990.1 She was appointed Dame Commander, Royal Victorian Order (D.C.V.O.) in 1969.1

     William Henry Leicester Stanhope, 11th Earl of Harrington was born on 24 August 1922.1 He was the son of Charles Joseph Leicester Stanhope, 10th Earl of Harrington and Margaret Trelawney Seaton.1 He married, firstly, Eileen Foley Grey, daughter of Sir John Foley Grey, 8th Bt. and Jean Jessie Mary de Sales la Terrière, on 5 February 1942.1 He and Eileen Foley Grey were divorced in 1947.1 He married, secondly, Ann Theodora Chute, daughter of Major Richard Arenbourg Blennerhassett Chute, on 24 January 1947.1 He and Ann Theodora Chute were divorced in 1962.1 He married, thirdly, Priscilla Margaret Cubitt, daughter of Major Hon. Archibald Edward Cubitt and Sibell Margaret Norman, on 14 October 1964.2 He died on 12 April 2009 at age 86.3
     He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Harrington, co. Northampton [G.B., 1742] on 16 November 1929.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baron Harrington, co. Northampton [G.B., 1730] on 16 November 1929.1 He succeeded as the 11th Viscount Petersham of Petersham, co.      Major George Thomas Cavendish Paget was born on 24 May 1853.1 He was the son of General Lord Alfred Henry Paget and Cecilia Wyndham.1 He married Dorothy St. Vincent Parker-Jervis, daughter of Edward St. Vincent Parker-Jervis and Winifred Maria Reynolds, on 29 August 1916.2 He and Dorothy St. Vincent Parker-Jervis were divorced in 1922.1 He died on 28 January 1939 at age 85.1
     He fought in the Turko-Russian War between 1877 and 1878.1 He fought in the Zulu War in 1879.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Imperial Yeomany.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901, in Paget's Horse, which he raised.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Major in 1916.1

     Virginia Alleyne Freeman-Jackson is the daughter of Captain Harry Freeman-Jackson and Dorothy Alleyne d'Aubigny d'Engelbronner.1 She married Charles Henry Leicester Stanhope, 12th Earl of Harrington, son of William Henry Leicester Stanhope, 11th Earl of Harrington and Eileen Foley Grey, on 14 September 1966.1 She and Charles Henry Leicester Stanhope, 12th Earl of Harrington were divorced in 1983.1
     Virginia Alleyne Freeman-Jackson also went by the nick-name of Ginny. Her married name became Stanhope.
