AFC Bournemouth have humiliated Manchester United at Old Trafford for the second season in a row with a 3-0 victory over Ruben Amorim’s side.
The south coast club defeated United by the same scoreline last term – and today’s win has moved them up to fifth in the Premier League table.
Dean Huijsen opened the scoring for the Cherries before Noussair Mazraoui gave away a spot kick for a silly foul on Justin Kluivert.
Bournemouth scored from the penalty spot as Kluivert sent Andre Onana the wrong way before Antoine Semenyo wrapped it up to make it 3-0.
Here’s how it all unfolded…

Ruben Amorim’s side are 13th.

FULL TIME: Man Utd 0-3 Bournemouth
Bournemouth win 3-0 at Old Trafford for the second season in a row. Unbelievable scenes!
Is there a fire drill?
Lots of Man Utd fans are heading for the exit. Around three minutes of normal time to play here. Bournemouth still lead 3-0.
‘Can we play you every week?’
It’s fair to say the Bournemouth fans are enjoying this one – and you cannot blame them at all!
‘Can we play you every week?’ is currently being sung at Old Trafford from a loud away end.
Deja vu for Man Utd
Man Utd lost 3-0 at home to Bournemouth last season. Looks like it could be the same scoreline today if things don’t change…
‘This is going to cause huge negativity around Man Utd’
Former Manchester City midfielder Michael Brown, watching the match as a pundit for the BBC: ‘This is going to send huge negativity around Manchester United.’
How have Man Utd responded to Bournemouth’s two quick goals?
Bournemouth scored in the 61st minute – and again just moments later – to open up a three-goal lead at Old Trafford.
Here’s how the stats are looking as we approach the closing stages…

GOAL! Man Utd 0-3 Bournemouth

OH MY WORD. MAN UNITED ARE FALLING APART! BOURNEMOUTH HAVE THREE. IT’S SEMENYO.
Mainoo gives the ball away cheaply on the halfway line. Semenyo plays it into Evanilson, who finds Outtara. He drives past Mazraoui – and into the box – and sets up the assist for Semenyo to fire home.
Brilliant team goal from the Cherries. Men against boys. 63 minutes played.
GOAL! Man Utd 0-2 Bournemouth

JUSTIN KLUIVERT! He coverts from the penalty spot! 2-0 Bournemouth with 61 minutes on the clock.
Onana went the wrong way. No chance.
PENALTY TO BOURNEMOUTH!
WOW. Mazraoui hacks down Kluivert inside the box. It’s a penalty to Bournemouth and the Cherries have a chance to double their lead.
Slow start to second half
It’s been a slow start to the second half for both teams, to be completely honest.
No big chances of note. We’ve just hit the hour mark.
Two more changes for Man Utd
Ruben Amorim must be unhappy with the opening 10 minutes of this second half. He’s just made a double change, with Hojlund and Garnacho coming on for Zirkzee and Ugarte.
Chances for Semenyo, Dalot
Chances for Semenyo and Dalot just now.
The Bournemouth star blasted a shot over – while Dalot saw a shot blocked by Zabarnyi. End-to-end stuff at Old Trafford still.
Back underway!
The second half has just started at Old Trafford. Both managers have made a substitution at the break.
Yoro comes on for Malacia.
Cook comes on for Smith.
‘Man Utd booed off at half-time’
Former Manchester City midfielder Michael Brown, watching the match as a pundit for the BBC: ‘You can hear the ‘boos’ from the Man Utd supporters – they’re not pleased.
‘They did do some good things, but in the final third the quality has not come. Full credit to Bournemouth, they have moved them around, there’s been some great runs and interlinking play.
‘Bournemouth have certainly had the control and Man Utd need to do better in the second half.’
HALF TIME: Man Utd 0-1 Bournemouth
Bournemouth hold onto their 1-0 lead at the break after a flurry of late first-half chances for the Red Devils. Big second half coming up.

Double chance for Man Utd
Blimey – Man Utd have come alive! Two more chances – Huijsen almost scores an own goal – before Fernandes tries another shot from 25 yards. It goes wide.
Chance for Fernandes again!
Two big chances for Fernandes in the space of about a minute. This time, the United captain forces a decent save out of Kepa.
Chance for Fernandes
Chance for Fernandes to level things up – he’s unmarked on the edge of the box – but his shot flies just wide of the near post. Close.
