Liz Truss

All the latest news on the former British Prime Minister and Tory party leader Liz Truss. She became the shortest-serving Prime Minister in British history when she resigned from office after just 44 days, taking office on September 6 and resigning on October 20. Ms Truss was MP for South West Norfolk from 2010 to 2024 and was formerly the foreign secretary before being elected party leader, replacing Boris Johnson.
