Over the past year or so, a few people suggested offering my artwork as a digital file sized for the. Since I don’t own a FrameTV, I had never really considered that, but I thought it was a good idea! So, I combed back through the digital files of my original oil paintings and selected ones that would work well with the crop ratio of a TV. So, if you’re interested in adding some of my art to your home on your , a selection of paintings is now available HERE.
There are currently four collections of FrameTV art available…
The Animal Collection features dogs, ducks, and rabbits…
The Landscape Collection features landscapes, villages, beaches, water, and barns…
The Still Life Collection features carrots, pears, clementines, baby shoes, and more…
And, I included a collection of scans of sketches and watercolors from the antique GH Kitchin sketchbooks in the Kitchin Sketchbook Collection…
I think it’s pretty cool that sketches of English villages made by a talented architect over 100 years ago are now available to put on our TVs as art. Oh, how the world has changed.
So, the FrameTV art is a nice variety of images and priced so you can buy a few and rotate them with the season or your whims!
In other art news, I am working on some commissions for clients, I am building a small collection of original works for the next sale, and prints, stationary, wrapping paper, and more are available through . I’m also gathering and repairing antique frames for future collections.
Question. Is it because the architect’s sketches are over 100 years old that it’s okay to duplicate them? No copyright infringement? Everything is so lovely! We don’t have a Frame TV, but Christmas is right around the corner . TIA!
It’s because the artist has been dead for 50 years. Yes, the art is no longer covered by copyright.
Thanks for the explanation. It’s appreciated!
Who wouldn’t love one of your paintings in their home?
I’m so glad George Herbert Kitchin will grace other peoples homes what an inspiring idea
I wish these were available as prints on society6
Some of them are and all of them will be!
These are all SO beautiful, Marian! As you know, I ordered two of them and while we’re traveling right now and I haven’t been able to get them up on our TV, I can’t wait to get home and see how they look on our wall. The Frame TV was SUCH a great idea and all the more when there’s art as beautiful as yours to display!
They are beautiful !
you are so talented and continue to amaze me on how you continue to grow. Godbless
