All sticky choruses, bouncing beats, and nonstop one-liners, Ludacris’ third studio album plays like the greatest party his home city of Atlanta has ever seen. The rapper mixes incredible technical proficiency on the mic with slang-peppered lyrics on tracks like the bouncing, Timbaland-produced classic “Rollout (My Business).” The barbed, bass-heavy bump of “Cry Babies (Oh No)” could crumble pavements beneath Luda’s Cadillac Escalade, but the laidback groove of the Nate Dogg-assisted “Area Codes” is better suited for slowly cruising the sun-drenched streets.
