This role, reporting to the CFO, supports strategic financial and business objectives across all company divisions, leading financial planning processes and ensuring coordination with all functional areas.

Key Responsibilities

Budgeting and Control


  • Coordinate budget preparation and data collection from all areas.
  • Obtain budget approval and monitor application monthly.
  • Address and correct deviations as necessary.


Budget vs. Actual Spending Accuracy


  • Lead reporting cycle and generate reports.
  • Verify trends, evaluate current events, and align with stakeholders on budget accuracy.


Financial Reporting


  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports based on data from all areas and Accounting.
  • Validate data consistency and assess progress towards objectives.


Forecasting


  • Define information collection schedule and consolidate data quarterly.
  • Analyze results and present findings to adjust the annual plan as needed.


Long-Term Strategic Planning


  • Collaborate semiannually with different areas to develop 3-year financial strategies.
  • Build models and provide visibility on long-term goals.
  • With Regional Special Projects: track project progress and contribute to regional financial strategies.


Annual Plan Preparation


  • Coordinate data collection, model generation, and reporting for the annual budget.
  • Monitor progress and ensure alignment with financial targets.


Risk and Opportunity Analysis


  • Assess internal and external economic indicators and identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Recommend actions based on industry trends.


Team Development and Management


  • Set strategic objectives for team development.
  • Evaluate performance, provide feedback, and identify training needs.
  • Motivate team to achieve goals.


What are we looking for?


  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in financial planning, preferably in beauty or fashion industry.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of BI tools.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar.
  • Leadership: Proven ability in managing and developing teams.
  • Analytical and Project Management Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Languages: Fluent in English & Spanish; French is a plus.
