📢 WEBINAR ON SUNGAI BESI – ULU KELANG ELEVATED EXPRESSWAY (SUKE) SECTION A : SUSTAINABLE ELEVATED HIGHWAY AND THE FIRST HELICOIDAL ELEVATED RAMP IN MALAYSIA 📢 🗓 Date: 16 December 2024 (Monday) 🕒 Time: 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon 📍 Venue: Online Zoom Webinar Synopsis This webinar will showcase that rapid urbanization in Malaysia has led to an increased demand for mobility, which in turn requires holistic designs of SUKE highway alignment, which is aimed to be an alternative to MRR2 to ease traffic congestion. There are several considerations to be taken into account when designing the highway’s alignment, such as the project purpose and needs, obligatory points, obstruction of existing properties and utilities, and type of vehicular traffic. SUKE’s alignment is highly optimized, and as a result, interruptions to surrounding built-up areas are minimized. Furthermore, this webinar also showcases the innovative capability of Malaysian engineers in the design and construction of this milestone achievement of the first helicoidal elevated ramp in Malaysia. 🚧 TECHNICAL TALK ON SETIAWANGSA-PANTAI EXPRESSWAY (SPE): THE DESIGN AND LAUNCHING OF A HIGHWAY WITH 3 MALAYSIA BOOK OF RECORDS 🚧 🗓️ Date: 12 November 2024 (Tuesday) 🕙 Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon 📍 Online Webinar 🔍 Synopsis: The Government of Malaysia has granted a Concession to Lebuhraya DUKE Fasa 3 Sdn Bhd (LDF3) to design, construct, manage, operate and maintain the Setiawangsa-Pantai Expressway (SPE) – DUKE Phase 3. SPE is a new 32km long dual-3 lane fully elevated expressway traversing north to south of Kuala Lumpur and serves areas such as University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Wangsa Maju, Setiawangsa, Ampang, the Tun Razak Exchange & Bandar Malaysia development corridor and Kerinchi. SPE has seven (7) interchanges and two (2) on/off ramps.
