The FarmByte team had our retreat in Melaka recently and it was one of high energy, collective learning, reflection and good camaraderie. In one of my many chats at the retreat, one of the execs asked if I'm proud of what FarmByte has achieved so far. I work with people who inspire me every day and the retreat was added validation that we've built a great team. It was inspiring to see that FarmByters are innately winners, we set high standards, we rise to the challenge and we know how to have fun. As part of company-wide team building, we had an Explorace inspired race, completing missions on Jonker Street. The managers then had training dedicated to exploring personal values and effective communication, a session facilitated by Lego! Our gala dinner's theme was Rock N Roll and the effort to dress up was spectacular - we couldn't even recognise our HR Head, who won men's best dress. Day 2 was an exercise on team communication, group decision making and creative problem solving. We first had a Lego building game where large teams are divided into 3 roles: one group to observe a Lego model outside, another to relay the Message and another to Build. The final team building was one where we had to build a car and race! I'm grateful for this team and I'm excited to see what new heights we will achieve together. #farmbyte #teambuilding #exponential
