MATTA has a full time secretariat based in Kuala Lumpur and chapters in Kedah, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak. MATTA represents the private sector business enterprises in the industry, to promote the interests of the travel and tourism industry in Malaysia. MATTA works closely with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Tourism Malaysia, and other stakeholders in promoting the industry.
