How Musician can Drive the Humanitarian Action’. Kami menjemput Puan Anita Ahmad, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif, Yayasan MySDG dan Datuk Dr. M. Nasir, seniman Malaysia dan duta MERCY Malaysia serta moderator anda, Encik Hafiz Amirrol, Timbalan Pengarah Eksekutif MERCY Malaysia bagi bersama-sama mengupas peranan ahli muzik sebagai alat memacu tindakan kemanusiaan. https://lnkd.in/g56rcGQS

MERCY Malaysia Flood Response MERCY Malaysia's team has been mobilized to various states across Malaysia in response to the onset of flooding. In support of these efforts, the MERCY Malaysia Command Centre at the headquarters in Kuala Lumpur is facilitating the coordination and dispatch of essential items from the Kuala Lumpur depot to support the teams on the ground. Today, our team successfully collected donations from our generous donors, sorting the items for distribution. These items will be sent out to ensure timely delivery ahead of the upcoming distribution in Kelantan. MERCY Malaysia is working in close coordination with local authorities and partner organizations to ensure that aid reaches those who need it the most. The distribution will include essential supplies such as food, water, hygiene kits, and clothing, which are critical in alleviating the challenges faced by flood-affected families. MERCY Malaysia remains committed to providing ongoing support. We urgently call for collective action to assist the affected communities, as every contribution—no matter how small—can make a meaningful impact in these challenging times. Kita jaga kita. MERCY Malaysia Flood Response: Kelantan "I never thought we’d get help during such a difficult time. MERCY Malaysia has been a lifeline, bringing us not just medicine, but hope when we thought we were forgotten,” shared a flood victim, capturing the essence of MERCY Malaysia’s mission in the aftermath of the Kelantan floods. At PPS SMK Baroh Pial in Rantau Panjang, MERCY Malaysia have continued its mobile clinics initiative to meet the community’s urgent needs that were heavily affected by the floods. These clinics have been instrumental in providing essential medical care to those who might otherwise have limited or no access to healthcare during such challenging times. With weather forecasts predicting yet another wave of flooding in the northeastern region, our preparations are already underway to ensure we can effectively respond to the evolving needs on the ground. MERCY Malaysia remains committed to reaching the most vulnerable populations, prioritising timely interventions to alleviate their suffering and safeguard their wellbeing during this period of heightened uncertainty. Looking ahead, MERCY Malaysia aims to go beyond emergency relief by supporting long-term recovery and strengthening the resilience of flood-stricken communities. Close collaboration with state representatives ensures that the evolving needs of the population are addressed effectively. Kita jaga kita. MERCY Malaysia Flood Response: Kelantan Team 2 of MERCY Malaysia has arrived in Kelantan today to intensify emergency response efforts, as many families are still left struggling without access to basic necessities. Supported by PKOB Kuala Krai personnel, APM members, and MERCY Malaysia volunteers, the team gathered at the MERCY Malaysia Kelantan office to load and distribute hygiene kits to nine evacuation centers assigned by PKOB Kuala Krai. A total of 300 hygiene kits were distributed, benefiting 300 families in need. Each kit includes essential items such as towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, hand sanitizers, masks, rubbish bags, and dignity kits. Despite these efforts, significant gaps in basic essential items remain. We urge everyone to support these affected communities by donating to help provide vital non-food items for their daily needs.
