  • On 12th December 2024, Resorts World Genting and Genting Green Generation (G3) hosted a special Christmas celebration at Resorts World Awana, spreading festive cheer and inclusivity to 23 blind and visually impaired individuals from the Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB). The day began with thrilling adventures at Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park, where participants enjoyed rides such as the Epic Hummingbird Flyers and Sid's Rock 'N' Slide. Guided by G3 volunteers and the Genting SkyWorlds team, participants used earpieces for clear communication, ensuring an inclusive and connected experience. The festivities continued at Dewan Lanai, Resorts World Awana, with a Christmas-themed luncheon featuring live music, a trumpet performance, interactive games, and appearances by Mr. & Mrs. Claus and Benny the Entertainer from Genting's Highland Heroes. This celebration showcases Resorts World Genting's efforts to positively impact communities. Let's continue spreading joy and inclusion this festive season!   • On 11 October 2024, Genting Green Generation (G3) hosted a Deepavali Celebration for 33 children from Swami Sivananda Home Batu Caves and Kuala Kubu Bharu. The event featured a mini Rangoli art session, where G3 volunteers helped create beautiful Kolam decorations alongside the G3 logo. The festive atmosphere, enhanced by the Kolam, G3 logo, and vilakku decorations, provided an engaging and enjoyable experience for the children. Their enthusiasm and smiles were the highlight of the day. We extend our sincere gratitude to our dedicated G3 volunteers whose efforts made this celebration a enriching and memorable event. The Sivananda Home representatives expressed their appreciation for the hospitality, and the children departed with visible joy.   • KUALA LUMPUR - The Cuti-Cuti Malaysia Carnival 2024 (KCCM 2024) was held from 25 to 27 October at the Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex, offering an array of exciting domestic travel opportunities for Malaysians. The event showcased over 200 tourism packages from across the country. At the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan emphasized the carnival's theme, "Crafting Holidays." This theme encourages domestic travelers to discover local destinations through exclusive packages available during the event. Khairul Firdaus reported impressive figures: from January to June 2024, Malaysia welcomed 127 million domestic visitors, generating RM53.2 billion in tourism revenue. Resorts World Genting joined the festivities, offering an impressive discount of over 60% on hotel and theme park deals. Spencer Lee, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Public Relations of Resorts World Genting, commented, "We were thrilled to actively support the local travel industry through KCCM 2024. Our substantial discounts reflected our commitment to promoting domestic tourism and providing unforgettable experiences for Malaysian families." KCCM 2024 was a collaborative effort between Tourism Malaysia, Kraftangan Malaysia, and Kementerian Pelancongan, Seni & Budaya Malaysia [MOTAC]. The ministry aimed to reach 221 million domestic visitors in 2024, with projected spending of RM92.7 billion.
