Our Quality, Security, Safety, Health, Environment and Traffic Management team successfully organised Sarawak Metro’s inaugural Security, Safety, Health & Environment (SSHE) Week, recently. The event aimed to enhance awareness among our staff, on health, safety and environmental issues. Highlights of the programme included health screenings, blood donation drive, and talks by Fire & Rescue Department of Malaysia (BOMBA), Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). In our journey towards attaining ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management Systems (ABMS) certification, we recently conducted our inaugural ‘Top Management Review’ meeting and ‘Governing Body Review’ meeting on 16 October and 28 October, respectively. Led by our board of directors, these sessions focused on reviewing audit findings, action plans and preparations for the upcoming Stage 2 Certification Audit, underscoring our commitment to implementing robust anti-bribery measures. At the same meetings, we also held our ABMS awareness session for the board, led by Focuser Consultant Sdn Bhd. This reinforces our dedication to inculcate an overall culture of transparency, accountability and ethical governance.
