We are proud to have been a long-time partner to Coles Group on its Automated Distribution Centres (ADCs) and Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) across Australia’s eastern seaboard, with work underway on the next ADC in Victoria. Last week, Coles posted its half-year earnings, with CEO Leah Weckert telling The Australian’s Eli Greenblat: “What we were incredibly pleased with is how we worked in those facilities to respond to the supply chain disruptions we saw in November and December – we wouldn’t have been able to respond as quickly and be as agile if we didn’t have those automated facilities in place.” Congratulations to our valued client on this outstanding result! 🚀 Read here: https://lnkd.in/gtwcrM_g Travis Erridge Milan Andjelkovic Patrick Leong Nick Cauchi Jason Tang Angus Perry Luke Kelly Matthew Logan Hamish Daniel Brett Nelson Steve Packer Bradley Kiddle

TMX’s Strategic Advisor Bruce Herbert spoke with Nine.com.au about some of these other challenges, including labour shortages and the high cost of energy. “The tariffs, plus an increasing push towards reshoring, is applying pressure on Australian suppliers who already bear incredibly high costs, even compared to the United States.” Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/gPXmhRSJ #SupplyChain #GlobalTrade #Manufacturing
