At Prasarana, we are united in our commitment to combat climate change. Last week, we successfully concluded the Prasarana Emission Reduction Lab 2024, bringing together over 70 participants from across all our business units, including representatives from Penang and Kuantan. This event marked a significant step toward our goal of achieving a 45% emission reduction by 2030, as outlined in the Prasarana Sustainability Blueprint 2023-2030.   Under the expert guidance of the Institute of Smart & Sustainable Living, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, our participants delved deep into identifying emission sources and crafting actionable initiatives. The Lab served as a catalyst for change, not just through innovative ideas, but also by fostering a culture of sustainability across our organization.   A highlight of the Lab was the Future Forward Session, where our President & Group CEO, En. Mohd Azharuddin Mat Sah, alongside our Senior Leadership Team, engaged with participants as they presented 11 impactful initiatives. These ideas, complete with implementation costs, timelines, and resource requirements, are set to transform our operations and align with our ambitious decarbonization goals.   The change starts now, and it’s not just about new technology, but also about instilling behavioral shifts among our employees. Each business unit plays a crucial role in driving this initiative, fueled by innovative thinking and a shared sense of ownership. As we move forward, our newly minted “Ambassadors of Emissions” will lead the charge, ensuring that sustainability remains at the forefront of our day-to-day operations.   This is just the beginning.
