As one of the major exhibitions in the Capital Museum's "World Civilization Exchange and Mutual Learning" series, the exhibition brings together 270 pieces (sets) of collections from 14 museums and cultural institutions in Greece, including the National Archaeological Museum of Athens and the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki. These precious exhibits span from the Neolithic period of Greece in 5800 BC to the Hellenistic period in the 1st century BC, covering all periods of ancient Greek civilization. These exhibits, which have traveled across the sea, vividly showcase the social and cultural features of ancient Greece, like a panoramic historical painting of ancient Greece. You can immerse yourself in the achievements of ancient Greek civilization, trace the origins of modern Western civilization, and understand the diversity and commonality of civilizations without leaving the country. It is really worth seeing! The design is ingenious, with the use of natural light, ancient Chinese-style archways, sunken bamboo courtyards, and gurgling water, creating an environment with both cultural and natural charm for the audience. The exhibition is rich in content, not only displaying the precious relics of Beijing's 700,000-year history of human habitation, 3,000-year history of the city, and 800-year history of the capital, but also collecting and displaying many treasures of Chinese civilization, with regular changes in exhibition content. For children, the Capital Museum offers a wealth of interactive displays and educational areas. Since the central axis of Beijing is very long, there are many things to remember and talk about, so today I will only talk about a part of it, about some memories from Yongdingmen to Tianqiao. The earliest memories of this area date back to the mid-to-late 1980s. At that time, my aunt's family moved to Beiwai Road, the west gate of the Temple of Heaven Park, so I often came to my aunt's house to play during the summer and winter vacations, and therefore I have quite a few memories of this area.
