Very Excited to announce that Edu Game Namibia has officially signed a partnership with Code.Up Portugal the conversations began during the GameJamPlus 2022/2023 final in Rio de Janeiro, when myself and António Durão crossed paths. Together, we set a goal to develop favourable conditions to establish a knowledge bridge that would benefit both sides. Today marks the start of an exciting collaboration, bringing Namibia and Portugal together through gaming education. As we enter the last month of the year, we are thrilled to announce our strategic partnership with Code.Up Portugal. This partnership culminates our mutual growth over the last two years, reinforcing the development of new projects in the field of education related to the video game ecosystem. This is a major stride for Edu-Game and the rest of the Namibian ecosystem. The partnership began during the GameJamPlus 2022/2023 final in Rio de Janeiro, when Tutaleni Ilonga and António Durão crossed paths. On Friday, 15th November, I had the privilege of facilitating a visit for the Namibian High Commission to the Tshimologong Digital Innovation Precinct in Johannesburg on behalf of Edu Game Namibia. The purpose of the visit was to explore the precinct, learn about its offerings and focus areas, and identify potential opportunities for collaboration between the two entities. Councillor Aino Humphrey, the Namibian Deputy High Commissioner to South Africa, expressed great appreciation for the insights and innovations showcased during the visit. I was particularly pleased to highlight a space and industry that resonates deeply with our youth. Visits like these are invaluable, as they expose us to new and unfamiliar environments, broadening perspectives and revealing untapped opportunities.
