About us

A360 Nigeria is a BMGF and CIFF funded project, with the goal to break down barriers to access and voluntary use of modern contraceptives by adolescent girls aged 15–19, thereby increasing modern contraceptive prevalence rate (mCPR) and improving the sexual reproductive health of adolescents. A360 Nigeria is focused on designing and adapting to improve and strengthen various program components - contraceptive continuation, economic empowerment, enabling environment, digital solutions and integrated services for girls, while supporting government to integrate programs into their health systems in pursuit of scale and sustainability. The integration is in a phased and measured approach. A360 Nigeria implements the 9ja Girls program, designed with and for unmarried adolescent girls in Nigeria. 9ja Girls is a trusted system that empowers and supports girls and their communities towards improving adolescents sexual and reproductive health outcomes through social and economic development. This centers on supporting girls knowledge, skills, agency and confidence to aspire and achieve her life goals. The Matasa Matan Arewa (MMA) program designed with and for married adolescent girls in Nigeria, creates a strengthened, integrated health and community support system, capable of making sexual and reproductive health relevant and accessible to the married adolescent girl. Thus empowering and building her agency towards achieving her goals. A360 Nigeria is implementing 9ja Girls in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun and partly Kaduna states and implements MMA in Kaduna and Nasarawa states.
