Firstly the good news. the date for the 2024 Ibadan Tech Expo has been announced. Ibadan's biggest tech event will happen on Saturday, the 28th of September 2024. This year's event will feature all the things you loved about our first edition in 2023, and a lot more new additions that will give you a memorable experience. We are using the same venue as last year, the International Conference Center, University of Ibadan. Last year we hit our target of 5000 attendees with more leftover This year we are going even bigger. We are aiming for 10,000 attendees. Ibadan Tech Expo 2023 was "Ibadan to the World." All our speakers and resource persons and a large chunk of our sponsors were drawn from Ibadan. We are also going to keep that arrangement. Infact our most prominent speaker last year The Honorable Akin Alabi, the MFHOR for Egbeda/ Ona-Ara Federal Constituency has again accepted to share his wealth of experience with our attendees. However, this year, we are expecting a bigger audience, so we will have resource persons drawn from Lagos Abuja and even from outside the country.   The Oyo State Government, under our governor, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde was a strong pillar of support for us last year. That has not changed this year. And we can count on the support of the state government for our 2024 edition. In addition to this news however, we have some more good news. The Ministry of Communications, Innovation and the Digital Economy have expressed interest in supporting us as #IbadanTechExpo24. Furthermore Titilope Gbadamosi, the Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Youth Initiatives will serve as one of our keynote speakers. This year we have made a key addition to the program. We will have an "Awards Evening" for the important people in tech in Ibadan and Oyo State. individuals brands, and organizations who have contributed to putting Oyo State on the tech map will be recognized at Ibadan Tech Expo Finally we appreciate you our loyal attendees for showing up for us last year.
