About us

The Lagos Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nations organs and other international bodies quintessential to the United Nations. LMUN is focused on young people who want to strive to do more and ensure their voices are heard on world issues. Providing pragmatic solutions through resolutions, LMUN is a platform for development through experiential learning. By giving the delegates a centre stage to discuss, negotiate, mediate and speak confidently on global issues, the delegates become global citizens who are solution-oriented and passionate about developing their various social milieus. • SDG 10 Did you know? Around the globe, the richest 10% control up to 40% of total income, while the poorest 10% earn just 2-7%. In Nigeria, inequality has sadly risen by 11%, highlighting the urgent need to address disparities within our nation. SDG 10 seeks to reduce inequalities within and among countries, tackling disparities in income and those based on age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, or economic status. However, challenges such as rapid population growth, unequal resource distribution, and implementation inefficiencies remain significant obstacles. Let's bridge the gap. Share your thoughts on building a more equitable society where no one is left behind. #LMUN25 #17DayCampaign #ReducedInequalities #SDG10
