🎉It's time to celebrate the winners of the CFYE's Youth Business Heroes Awards!
CFYE's launched an internal initiative called Youth Business Heroes Awards, a way to further recognise the outstanding contributions of our Implementing Partners in driving youth entrepreneurship and employment across Africa!
A jury composed of CFYE Representatives from its consortium partners Palladium: Make It Possible, VSO Nederland, and Randstad, and members of the Youth Advisory Committee members from Kenya, Nigeria and Uganda Funmilayo Ajala, Wambũi Mũrĩmi, Frances Aanyu awarded three of our Implementing Partners as Youth Business Heroes for the following categories:
🏆 Technology and Innovation Trailblazer: CheckUps, our partner from #Kenya, for their innovative approach to facilitating employment for young nurses and other medical professionals in Kenya. Their disruptive business model is set to generate new employment opportunities at scale.
🏆 Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment: Generation Kenya for their exceptional work in training and placing youth in the manufacturing and BPO sectors. Their ability to reach and impact a large number of young people, creating numerous job opportunities, truly stands out.
🏆 Women Entrepreneurship and Employment: Mamamoni Limited from #Nigeria for their inspirational work with young women from underserved communities in Nigeria. By empowering these women to become micro-entrepreneurs, Mamamoni is making a significant contribution to local economies and inspiring women entrepreneurship at scale.
These winners will have the incredible opportunity to attend the #Sankalp Africa Summit this February in Nairobi, sponsored by CFYE. This summit, with over 1000 participants, celebrates social impact entrepreneurs from across Africa and offers extensive opportunities for partnerships and investor introductions.
